DEPARTMENTS:

ACTIVITIES – We offer a variety of personal, group and religious activities that are developed with our current resident diversity in mind—take a look at our calendar under a separate tab on our website. Volunteers are an integral part of our activity program—if you are interested in volunteering, let us know.
ADMISSIONS—The Admissions Coordinator is available for facility tours and questions related to admissions be they clinical or financial.
BUSINESS OFFICE—The Business Office is where you will find the Administrator, Business Office Manager and Human Resources to assist you with a variety of topics ranging from accounts receivable and billing to accounts payable and employment.
FOOD SERVICES—The Dietary department is where nutritious and therapeutic meals are created with consideration of one’s culture and preferences.  The facility contracts with a Registered Dietitian to oversee the clinical aspects of our food service.
HOUSEKEEPING—The Housekeeping personnel are in and out of every room in the facility every day to assure cleanliness and sanitation.
LAUNDRY—The Laundry provides clean linens and personal clothing every day.
MAINTENANCE—The Maintenance department rounds the facility each day making necessary repairs and/or improvements for the smooth operation of equipment and the comfort of our residents.
MDS/ASSESSMENT—The MDS (Minimum Data Set) Coordinator completes a comprehensive resident assessment in conjunction with Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy as well as Social Services, Dietary and Activities that evolves into a comprehensive individualized plan of care for each resident.
MEDICAL DIRECTOR—The Medical Director is a Medical Doctor who contracts with Mountain View Manor and oversees the clinical care and services.
MEDICAL RECORDS—The Medical Records department maintains the clinical records of current and former residents in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.
NURSING—The Nursing department is working throughout the facility to provide both skilled and basic health care for every resident we care for 24 hours a day.
REHABILITATION SERVICES—The Rehabilitation (Therapy) department treats orthopedic, neurological and general mobility problems through physical therapy (helps relieve pain and increase strength, flexibility, and functional mobility of the larger muscles), occupational therapy (focuses on the finer aspects of functional coordination of the smaller muscles to improve one’s ability in performing daily living activities), and speech therapy (focuses on speech, swallowing, memory and organizational skills) to optimize each resident’s physical capacity and potential.
SOCIAL SERVICES—The Social Services department is here as your advocate and to assist with psychosocial needs and services.

Orthopedic Recovery and Rehabilitation (for rehab of Hip, Knee, Ankle, Shoulder)
Cardiac Recovery and Rehabilitation (for rehab of bypass surgery (CABG), CHF, new Pacemaker)
Neurological Recovery and Rehabilitation (for rehab of stroke (CVA), head injury, Parkinson’s)
Skilled Nursing Wound Care (for treatment of surgical and systemic wounds)
Infectious Disease Care (for isolation and treatment of infectious diseases)
Dialysis (for care and treatment of modalities requiring dialysis)
Diabetes (for care and treatment of diabetes)
Long-Term Care (for care of individuals whose medical needs are greater than can be provided at home or assisted living)
